Can anyone tell me anything about Council axes? I saw a couple axes on thier site that looked nice (cedar pattern double axe + fiberglass handle michigan pattern double axe). thanks a lot.
They have been around for a long time, and make a variety of fire fighting tools. Unless they have gone south in recent years, should be a good tool.
They are good tools and they sell a lot of them around here. I think Council makes the Dixie brand of skidder hooks etc now. :-/

Thanks for the info. I've never seen one for sale around here and i haven't seen the models i want for sale online so i guess i'll have to get some one to custom order them for me.
That page that Tom posted shows the cedar pattern double bit but not them michigan style double bit. I want the michigan too because i can get it wioth the fiberglass handle which i think would be really great.
