Seems a little farfetched to me.

Dunno, but for 10 doller "Victor" will send you more information. ;)
DanG, let us know what you find out (and how much it ends up costing you). ;D ;)
Thats quite a claim :o
Victor went through woodweb a couple months ago. It was a quick trip. Impulse drying is used to dry the pulp for paper. Victor never came back to ww to substantiate his claims. Like I said there, it's just like one of those Nigerian money scams. but this one is aimed at the forest industry.
Can I get 5 for telling about the 10?
Well, Jeff, I have heard that five could get you ten. :D
I thought it was " You could get five to ten", Frank. :D
I'll bet that would be a perfect method of drying out giant redwoods that have been sunk for years off the left coast ::)
FLASH BACK!
You jerk. Insults again. It is what it is. I don't waste my time with untruths you bum. for your info, I am running for U.S. Congress in the 8th Dist. of Tenn. I run three co.'s. I don't have time to try to defend myself against obnoxious persons like you who seem to be interested in being negative about people. You remind me of a rude cop I once knew. Don't write me again.

Just as I thought, by your reaction. You were not threatened. You were informed. If you were insulted by the fact that we try to protect our membership from elements that could disrupt our board then so be it.
It is a fact that phone numbers are posted on boards that cause huge phone bills when called. they were placed there purely to get people to dial them for that reason. I will not take that chance with someone we know nothing about.
If you were what you said you were you would come to the board, laugh off our opinion and give us the scoop on your post. What you just did was reinforce my believe that this is not what it appears to be.

We would like you to return to the Forestry Forum and explain your post on "Huge Redwood Logs in the Sea" . The consensus is that your post is at best "Fishy" You can click here to return to your post.
I don't expect to hear from you again, but if you are legit we sure would like some more information because it would be a facinating story. But If your not on the up and up and you are trying to scam our membership, well I do have your I.P. address, login info, server log in time etc..., all I need to track you to your desk.

His original appearance and posts are still here somewhere. We got quite a kick out of Mr. Bill. By the way, he was defeated soundly in his run for office. Last I knew, his website for exploiting, I mean exploring for treasure was still up on yahoo. :)
The exchange above was from emails, which I still have and read when I am need of a smile. ;D
Found it.

Jest fer fun, thought y'all otter know that "Ole Bill" went to the Phillipines and successfully beat another treasure hunter outta a whole shipload of US Silver coins, from WW2.
It's quite a story about how the coins wuz there to begin with. "Ole Bill" has VERY thick skin, when it comes to makin moves on treasure ventures. Kinda a "Bulldog" approach. ::) ;D ;D
