One of the other contractors at the mill I contract for runs a Timbco. He tops with it also. On state jobs and sensitive jobs we are not allowed to drag whole trees. Some jobs we are required to leave the tops. Jobs that we can remove tops I still top the tree because it does less damage to the stand. State forester would tan my hide if he seen me pulling whole tree's.

Around here most loggers leave the tops for the landowners to cut for firewood, or let rot.
