heres a vid i found of a 384 limbing and bucking :)

hydroax made a chain fail delimber back in the mid 70's mounted to machine in place of the shear
they are very rare right? i saw a pic of one once
so why delimb it twice? theres a flail limber availible that does it all in one pass.
I am curious about their choice on that piece of equipment, as up here I have never seen something like that. its all stroke delimbers and slashers, hood, tanguay or timricks or whatever. they would have lots of wood already slashed and piled at the roadside and a knuckleboom loader loading the trucks... but now with only the pulp mills going, and they are only taking chips, its straight into the chipper with everything.
it just looks like a slow process, especially with the truck there waiting.
amazing machines :o I wonder how many woodmen were out of work because such equipment...
alot of guys, i have seen so many sell out
