Title: buying a grapple
Post by: sjfarkas on May 21, 2011, 11:35:01 PM
Well I've decided to get a rotating grapple with a winch for my skid steer.  There are a lot of them out there, but not all of them can handle the weight that a big machine can lift.  My machine is rated at 3200lbs at 50% of tipping capacity.  So I figured I need something rated at around 9000lbs to deal with machine strength and also other stresses put on it in the field.   I've looked at beaver squeeze, ryans, fecon, valby, multitek, dymax, and a few other brands.  Does anyone run one of these that can give me pros and cons for particular brands?  I think I even convinced my wife of this purchase. 8)

I'm in the same boat now.  What did you end up buying?
