Now why can't something like this happen to me................

It's hard to believe that 5 cups are worth 1 to 1.5 MILLION!!!!!!!!! 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

I enjoy that show.  It is amazing to me how much stuff that I have with so little value :).

Never seen a sawmill on the show yet.

I've seen a number of old sets of dishes on the Roadshow that my uncle has collected for 40 years and grandmother (same house hold) that are not made any longer. Some pieces in the sets are worth over $2 grand.  ;D

A kind of carnival glass that is real dark, is rare now. It's not super expensive, but in the hundreds $$. The pieces he has came from his grandmother.

I seen a quite a few Chinese dishes and carvings from ivory and such on the show, never near that price. I think they tend to appraise foreign stuff low most of the time. So there is that bias I don't like about the show. But not in this case. ;)
