I planted these garden grapes 25 years ago and this may be the first time ever I get to have a grape. :) At this point I think they are red skinned grapes, but not sure yet. See I planted some store bought grapes from seed as well as a purple grape similar to concords. We'll see. ;D

Guess I have 15 years more to go on my grapes. ;D They really took off on me this year.Might even cover the top of the trellis. Been growing for 10 years. I have 2-3 plants just growing wild around here that I've been meaning to dig up for 3 years now. These are doing better than the ones I bought. Have some down on the stone wall that was not doing much 10 years ago,but now they are doing great. I need to somehow get these off the wall and up on something. Can't even find time to dig up 3 plants and I want to take on a bigger project. ::)
I want to move mine too, so I can make an arbour for them to climb and keep the fruit off the ground. I will likely prepare a sheltered spot sometime this summer. I just don't know where. Down by the new garden it's not sheltered enough. Where they are, they are being crowded by the raspberries. I have a spot by a drop in the lawn that faces westerly. It's almost like a natural wall there, it's an outcrop of ledge I believe. Don't know at this point.
What's that expression? All good things are worth waiting for ;D
