Title: what size elec motor on saw bench?

hi all

I just need to no what size elec motor i need for my saw bench running a1050mm dia blade from (http://www.centralsaws.com.au/images/InFocus_Series333.pdf)

the motor will be 1440 rpm three phase and the blade will be running 1130rpm

how many kw motor do i need?

Gday Brad

I take it this is a firewood bench so your power requirement is less for crosscutting than it is for ripping and that you would be cutting stuff like Ash,messmate,gum and peppermint Mate  ;)

Isthis going to be part of your larger firewood mill downthe track ? ifsoi would go as large as you can go on your power supply but if your just doing up an old firewood bench you could get away with 15 to 30kw motor  ;) howmany teeth are you getting it set up with Mate  ???
