Title: Cedar Log Venture, advice needed
Post by: 123maxbars on November 04, 2011, 08:55:32 PM
I have a neighbor who has thirty acres of thick cedars a few miles from me. These cedars are good saw logs and are around an average of 16 to 18 diam. He is wanting me to cut them and saw them on my mill. He is trying to find a market for them, I can sale them locally but that much cedar would take a long time to move. Just wondering if anyone had any ideas on how I could move this wood without having to store it and advertise on craigslist.  Any advice would be appreciated,

If you cut a semi load worth I hear the overseas market is buying 6x6s and 8x8s
