Post by: farmer mark on December 01, 2011, 09:12:37 AM
My son is looking at a Case model M400? forwarder.  The owner said here late husband converted it to a forwarder from a skidder, but it looks factory made. It has a detroit in it. any back ground info would be appreciated.  Are parts still avalible?  Thanks.

Case had a couple good skidders and a couple bad ones. Quite a few parts can be had (much easier than a Massey ferguson)

Not sure about parts for their skidders but parts for the older construction is just about non-existent. I had an older case dozer that I had to custom machine and fabricate numerous parts for as they were unavailable.
