Title: WM- Accuset 2, What to do next?
Post by: JSR on January 22, 2012, 10:01:13 AM
I've been having a problem with my LT 70, the accuset 2 setworks have been down for 4 weeks now. I can't get rid of error message (transducer problem).
Have changed, get ready, 1- H bridge, 2- Transducer cable#1, 3- Bridge to cable#1 wiring harness, 4- Transducer, 5- Front control panel, 6- Transducer cable#1(second time), 7- Gas cylinders in up/down assist assembly, 8- Software update (S.D. card). 9- Spoken with WM Canada countless times and also with "Sparks".
I am at a loss to think of what to do next. Hoping that someone can throw at me any type of tip to look at.
Do not want to sound desperate, but really starting to get there. Very hard to keep putting off valuable customers with the, I am broke down excuse. Thanks for taking the time to read this post.

I would keep talking with "Sparks" as he is my guru. Sometimes it takes awhile and he will have you standing on your head with the volt meter to get it to read the things he is needing to learn on his end but he will get you there.

JSR,
WM has sent you a defective part.
The only components that will cause a Transducer error are items 1-4. Item 2 has been replaced twice so it doesn't sound likely that's the one, leaving you with items 1, 3, and 4 as possibilities.

Thanks for all the replies. Brian discussed the approach to be taken with me. Should start to see alternative parts on Tues. and Wed. Good company, good family, proud to be a part of it. Should sleep a bit better tonight. Once again, Thank you.

Problem solved. Long story made short, it was the transducer. Plugged this one to the cable and bingo, accuset doing what it should. Time to saw. Thanks to Brian, and the rest of the WM crew.

Sounds like Magic Smoke hit the nail on the head, a new defective part.  Sure makes fixing it hard to figure out and time consuming. It can happen on any machine.    Steve
