I believe the 440C has around 70HP and the 440D is turbo-charged and has 85HP. I know a fellow who has a good sized logging company in Rangeley, Maine and he told me the 440C was a great machine but the 440D was the worst skidder he ever owned. His opinion was the additional horsepower was too much for the machine.
