Hi folks, sorry about it being off Topic. New to the site so not sure if you do have a 'place' for this.
Apart from the main project, the sawmill. Lyle always has a number of projects on the go at any one time, whilst he was looking after me on my 'spring break' we managed to get one of these projects started. Or should i say running.

That was the petrol side running.
Now for the diesel side, many of you may now wish to blame us for your bad weather the last couple of weeks.

There was a little talk about using the motor to power his mill, but the restoration/ rebuilding bug bit him. Glad i'm back in Germany at the moment, but i'm pretty sure it will still be waiting next time i visit for coffee :'(
Good start. Sounds real smooth. Wish I could find something along those lines to rebuild. Keep us posted. Chuck

OH, BTW, Im the good lookin guy and dave is the one shootin the video...lol
Do you have a loader or dozer for that beast? It would make a good lot loader for your sawmill. I like the old stuff also. My lot loader is a 1953 Caterpiller 977 Traxcavator with pony start, and I like it very much. Don't have to worry about hauling any logs home that I can't lift onto the sawmill!

Its pretty much a bare bone tractor, when the time comes I will find a dozer for it.
