Got the 1600 home last night. It has only 15 hrs on it, looks pretty much like new. It does have everything Hyd but a log dog and toeboards. I am for sure going to put the log dogs on but should I also put a hyd toe board on? thanks I will get pics hopefully this afternoon.
Yes put the toeboards on and a remote throttle, have fun Steve
Hydraulic toeboards are a big timesaver. Backsaver, too.
Here are a couple of pics. actually I cannot get them off the gallery. there are 2 of them.
Your pictures are there. Just click on the picture and then scroll down and click the blue box "Insert Image in Post" and then OK.
Congrats on the new mill, sully. Did you mean it doesn't have hydraulic backstops?
No the backstops are manual. thanks

Thanks, I finally figured the pic thing out. I was saving for the 2000 but I found this one at a great price and it is probably all I need for now. I have a stack of pine to practice on today before I start on walnut. sully
And I thought a 1600 was small...yikes that thing is huge.
Good luck moving it around.
Nice mill by the way.
