Hi everyone, well I bought the tree farmer and now finally have it home. Needed some TLC in a few spots but still seems to be a really solid skidder. I have everything in working order besides the brakes. Its a 1977 with disc brake set up... I need pads... any ideas where to start looking? I've tried the local auto parts store but instant dead end there as I expected, also tried the ford/new holland dealer as well, but no luck there either. I will get pics posted as soon as I take some and have my better half show me how to post them. :P Thanks again!
I dont know where you are but Dav co in Farmington Maine will have what you need and they will ship them to you phone # 207-778-9060 talk to John in parts or Harolds logging in Bangor Me 207-942-8331
Thanks a bunch overtime, I will ring them in the morning and see what they have to say. I am located in North West Wisconsin about 40 miles south of Superior/Duluth. Sure am anxious to get it in the woods and try it out, but it's awfully wet right now so probably am rushing things a bit! :)
C5s are great skidders. I had a c5b and it was a good machine. For a machine of its size you cant beat them.
