Well, they lasted way longer than I ever thought they would. Born in 2005. The last Cottonwood pig roast table was destroyed yesterday for safety reasons. There were big cookies that Furby brought up, and several of use transformed into tables. There is still one up on my property, but I wouldn't trust sitting with my legs under that one either.
A few memorial photos. :)

Just please don't roast the puppy too Jeff! :)
Is there going to be a Larch Era?
I wonder if Jeff is sprucing up for something ???
I'm already pining for new tables.
If this happened in Newfoundland, somebody would say "C'dar gone!" (You have to listen closely to get that one...)
