Don't know if this is appropriate, Jeff, since the company is not a member of Timberbuyers, so I won't post the name......

Jeff, I've already given them your packet, a few months ago, email on the way.
On 100" posts, 3" and up for Douglas Fir I can get $ .15 a running foot. tha equates to $1.20 for the posts, up to 7". How many posts do you folks get per cord? ::)
Well, Frank, obviously that depends on the sizes, I actually never counted the posts!! ::) If I use stakes on my F-250, and chain and load-bind them down, I can get about 3/4 cord on. Usually I pile them to the side until I get 10 cords and call in a truck, depending on road conditions. They scale me kinda high because I never bring them junk. Good way to get rid of tops, and other stuff you don't want to saw. I suppose you could calculate the amount of posts per cord, if all the posts were the same size. It isn't Superior Cedar, it's a fence company in Ingalls, but since I drive past Superior all the time, I'll have to stop in and have a chat next spring. Jeff is making a really cool looking site for them, check it out!
