My 009 spark plug boot came a part, the coil/spring was stuck to the plug when i removed the wire, The coil had a short piece of straight metal sticking off it, I just stuck it back in and put some dielectric grease on everything, It fired right up, is it ok like this? Thanks

My 090 did have the same problem when I first bought it. It would work fine. Later, I did replace the wire and boot.
