I just found this forum and have spent a couple hours of browsing. There is a lot of knowledge here. I have been burning wood for at least 25yrs and own a firewood processing business. I have never been so busy,so if I can contribute any info just ask. I am sure that I will have a lot of question too. Once again, nice to part of the crowd. smiley_wavy

Good to have you here on FF! Welcome.
I own a Multitek for a couple of years now, and I have, for a lesser word abused the heck out of that machine. I cut about 500 to 600 chords a year with it. Just like anything, you will always discover any weaknesses with time. I have made some slight modifications. I am based out of a town just south of Marquette MI. Logging is very big up here. With the winters we have up here, you have to burn wood in order to avoid paying 400 a month for propane.

Hopefully you don't have to pay $400 a month for wood, either!
I buy a truck load of wood (10 to 12 Chords) about once every 3yrs. Thats all I need to heat my house (1800sqft). That truck load is going for $1000 here.
