Title: corley edger

   I have a corley edger when i run one blade it workes just fine,but when i add the 2th blade it will work ok for a few bords then it will cut a foot or two and then stop feeding do you have any idea why? thanks bill

HI ,I have one also.I made a new belt about 1/2 to3/4 inch shorter .David

David   do you mean the belt that drives the feed roles ?  We are cutting 3 in. cants into 3x4's

Do you have enough power?  2 saws in 3" of wood figures out to a 30 hp motor.

In the OP you were running "boards" through the edger.

Ron  we have a 250hp . when the feed stops we shut it all down and can pull the cant back out,restart and feed the cant back throu some time it will go all the way some time not.

Sounds like you're not getting those hp to your saws.  Does it just hang up?  Belt slippage can be a major problem.
