Title: Figure where is it

 I  bought some cherry logs. there going to be turning blanks.

I know I have to cut out the pith. But I think Ill cut the big one on its side , the narrow way, to wide for the WM . what do y'all think :D

DanG Peter, all in all some pretty nice logs there!

Yep....turn the BIG one on it's side and saw it. Ya gotta do something.....may as well just do it.  :)

That's a beastly looking piece of cherry. There has to be some beautiful grain inside. Happy sawing :)

Well WDH, I dont know about luck, :D I have a bunch of tree guys that call me when they have some thing like this, they like cash. and no steel in it :D

Very nice score. Sometimes on a big crotches, I cut out the long "feather"  to make vase blanks as well.  Very nice to have a vase with that type of grain all the way around.

Nice to be able to get wood like that and even nicer to have it all sold.   ;D Looks like you have a good drying "shed" too.

 Nice whack of cherry, I envy you for having such well stacked turning blocks, man I can only realise that in a dream....  ::)   :D
