Title: Point Sampling
Post by: Jeff on January 09, 2002, 02:20:29 PM
Ron Wenrich has written an excellent 3 part tutorial on point sampling for the Forestry Forum. Point sampling is a method of determining the frequency of occurrence of trees throughout the stand using a fixed point.

He has placed it in our knowledge base under forestry. A link to the knowledge base is always in the link column on the left side of your forum pages. Or just use the handy dandy links furnished below :)

Thanks for the lead Jeff. Very nice work Ron. Also some pretty good stuff posted in the Knowledge base so far as well.

The nice thing about this knowledge base is that any of the members can post in it. Unlike alot of other boards. There have been a bunch of posts that deserve to get put in there.

Here is a question to all of the members of the forum. What would you all like to see in the knowledge base?  Information that could be useful. Any helpful hints?
