Title: possible use?
Post by: wildbill on January 25, 2013, 08:34:35 PM
i was wondering if using blue creeper to prevent damage caused by corrosive rounds in firearms would work?   a friend is looking for something to use with russian corrosive rounds.

i told him i use it on my bullseye guns with great success and would ask if would work for his problem as well.

thanks in advance

I had to do a little homework to answer you mostly because I had no idea what you were asking.

As it was explained to me, the answer is no because the primer is corrosive.
After shooting he would need to clean with a base like windex or ammonia and then lubricate with something with more viscosity.

Darn I was hoping for a new use.
