Title: Stihl MS 440 vs. Husky 372XP
Post by: magic on April 04, 2004, 12:48:43 AM
I made up my mind to go with the MS440 but have been curious about Husky.  Always been a Stihl guy and happy with the results but I have always wanted to try a Husky.  I can't help but notice the difference between price and they are almost exactly the same saw.  Hoping you guys can help me make up my mind.  I want a saw I know I can rely on.  I cut a lot of firewood and I am hoping to get a new one soon.  Thanks for your help in advance.

im an old stihl man myself. but i own an husk 372...
in this case at least i can speak about that saw..
i dont know that id change a single feature on the saw. altho mine is power ported by dan henry...
its strong as anysaw ive owned. . takes most of the work out of
felling an bucking.. very well ballanced and the best antivibe in the buisiness. jmo. its kinda like using an electric motor with a super lotto power.. and last but not least ,,mine shows signs of being as durable as the old 028 stihl.. thats sayin a lot. good luck which ever u choose.
