Title: Resaw Attachment for Older LT 40
Post by: wetdog on February 20, 2013, 07:17:33 PM
I recently purchased a '92 WM LT 40. It came with a WM resaw attachment that is newer but looks as though it has never been used. I was wondering if anyone has one like this. It has rollers instead of belts like the new ones. How well does it work for you? What do you primarily use it for in your operations? It dosen't have a tag but would anyone have any idea of a WM model number for this resaw attachment?
Thanks

I have one of the old style resaws. I've used to split boards to thinner dimensions, and also to make bevel lapsiding by tilting the resaw and running a board through making 2 pieces of siding. The resaw has worked well for me with no issues. I think Woodmizer uses a model designation of RS for this item, I don't think they changed it much over the years.
