Title: stihl 020 avp

New to any site just started working on saws .latest frustration 020 avp rebuilt carb did'nt help comp test 110 lbs is that good enough? It will run good for awhile then just take a dive.love it when it's right any advise .another ? 4 screws carb adjust wa 86 D  L-H-L.A. and a4th?

That is weird, but stihl does some crazy stuff.  I have one 020 av with a WT-15 carb in it (walbro) and the other 020 av I have has a HU-7A tillotson in it.  The first, I just rebuilt carb ,fuel lines and manifold boot.  I have about 120 on the compression.  started and ran great  I'm so happy.  Thanks to the people here and the other site i visit.  Don't know about fourth screw on carb need to see it. smiley_beertoast

what i found out was that your WA-86d is the same as a WT-15 just a H n L and Idle adjust to stop the chain  from turnin

one of my saws has three holes on top, 2 for the pins one is blank,  my other one has 2 holes on top pins in both.  because of the different carbs
