Looking at a bank repo, its a 06 and can get it for about 5 grand less then retail, Anyone one here have any coachman campers? This has 2 slides and is in nice shape. It was a one owner camper.
Well got the wifes ok, i am going with a pocket full of cash to check this out!
Did you get it? We travel in a HitchHiker 5th wheel and enjoy that time very much.
I had a Coachman camper van and have been through the Coachman factory in Middlebury, Indiana. They do a good job in building them. The Chapperal is their 5th wheel Flagship.
Yes i got it!!! Very nice camper! Needed a cleaning but i got a heck of a deal!
I think you found a great deal for 5 grand, too. :)

2- 5th wheels, 3 ice shacks, and a inclosed sled hauling trailer with sleeping quarters!!!! Time to sell something!!
Well, went and put airbag overloads and a 5th wheel hitch in my 1/2 ton serria friday, It hauled it very nice!!!
Make sure you do not exceed the GCWR for the truck. Police and the insurance company will take a very dim view in the event of an accident. 1/2 tons are generally too light to tow most fivers.
We have an old 18 1/2 ft I tried to pull with a Ranger 4.0. It was within the trucks weight rating but after two trips in the mountains I gave up. Pedal to the metal with hazards on going up and white knuckles down the other side. Now have a Ram diesel that works much better and we can upgrade the trailer while keeping the truck.

We bought a new rig last year, 2013 Forest River Cherokee 39 FL. 44 feet long, 4 tip outs, 9 foot tall ceilings. Wife loves it.

That is nicer than most people's houses. Woodhauler, I didn't mean to offend you, I realize you do this for a living and are very aware of weight limits. The red flags went up when you mentioned 1/2 ton.
Does this count?
I had a Bluebird family buy a 2004 Airstream Camper last week. :)

:D That is really cool.
Thanks Sawguy21
Dave- that is one weird looking trailer. Not sure i would want to try to change that spare tire on the side of the road. Almost looks like you would need a pit crew to change it
