Just wondered how often should a guy grease pivot pins and walking beam bushings . If useing daily what does everyone recomend. How often and how many pumps ? Any prefered types of grease ?? Any info is a great help Thanks
Grease my whole machine every day. Grease the centers till I see grease start coming out. Pivots get 10-15 pumps. I use Ams-oil commercial grease because my neighbor is a dealer.
Same here, 8-10 hrs.I use mystic red.
Daily or every 10 hours, all pivots, center pins, fair lead... try to get the u-joints on a weekly basis... and the front axle pivot... pay special attention to the center pins...
good ole multi purpose grease, whatever is on the shelf at napa, most stuff gets one pump, some get more depends how worn they are...
Don't put that many hours on my machine anymore. A couple times a week. Use Valvoline crimson, it is a real tacky grease and seems to stay where you put it. lol Don't know about the newer machines but there are a gazillion grease fittings on my old Tree Farmer. lol It's still a tight machine.
