Here is a tractor I picked up last winter. 1962 John Deere model 2010 Backhoe. I bought it as a non runner. I could have cut it up and parted it out and made money on it. Has really good rubber all the way around. Actually I'm glad it's a running tractor now. Plugged fuel line, first place I looked. Everything works as it should, but still needs some TLC. Glad to have it, will come in handy!!!
I had the same exact tractor. I had to take a quick look at where your at. I thought it was my old one. :D
I got alot of work out of that old girl but ran her too hard last summer putting in a septic system at our cabin. Broke a piston. :'( :'(
word got around quickly and the next morning a local excavator came by. He offered to finish the job and take the tractor in trade. He ended up throwing in some cash and a couple loads of stone too. I sure miss having a hoe around.
Glad to see you got that old iron working again. Is that a gas motor or diesel? Mine was a 4 cylinder diesel.
Gas engine in this tractor. This is my first backhoe but I know I will use it.
Nice JD and best of luck with it
