There are other videos of this sawmill on youtube but this is a brand new one I just found out about. It is a nice documentary... bout half an hour.

I couldn't stop watching it. A fascinating combination of modern harvesting and vintage processing. Where is the mill? If it said, I missed it. Thanks for posting.

Great video, I watched all of it while I had my first cup of coffee this morning. Thanks for posting, very interesting. Makes one realize that performing maintenance while operating a WM mill and Edger compared to that operation is a minor task.
I was completely mesmerized during that video, thanks. That was one that I hated to see end. :)
Very much enjoyed that, thanks! ;D
Makes me want to go start up my mill and cut some lumber. Nice to see there are some family traditions that are still going strong. Neat video. Thanks for posting it.
What an amazing video 8)
Now, Steamsawyer, you have a new goal to shoot for :D :D
You have a great start ;D
That qualifies as Mechanical Engineer porn - all the belts, pulleys, cams, gears, boilers, blades! And kudos to the employees - everyone that I noticed had all of their digits intact. Carefully applied skill beats OSHA!
Somewhere in Shasta County, California. ;D
Great find! 8)
I seen all that scrap iron and thought if you sold it you could buy an LT70.
Thank you for bringing this to everyone's attention and sharing it with us. This was a real treat.
This operation will last as long as they have a machinist in the family. Steamsawyer, if your butt still itches, talk to your doctor. You would be surprised what advances have been made in medicine. Regards, Clark
Very cool!! Thanks for sharing that video. Amazing and fantastic that its still all steam powered.
The amount of engineering involved is truly amazing. That crew wore me out. ;D
That was one of the very best documentary type films I've ever seen!! They really did a great job of showing the love and care that has gone into that operation from the word go!!! Thanks for sharing!!
great video
That was sure interesting, thanks for sharing.
Kinda makes you want to saw something doesn't it ...
The mill is in Oak Run California.
That was the best thing I have seen in months...Thanks for sharing! 8)
Thanks Steamsawyer! That was a great documentary. It is good to see all that machinery being put to good use.
