Found this sitting on a beam way up in a 150 year old barn I tore down
it has
MILLERS FALLS CO.
MILLERS FALLS.MABS U.S.A.
written on it

If it has a square hole threw it, with wing nut screws to lock the bar placed into the hole, it could be a handle for a T-auger bit set.
As to what it's worth, I wouldn't have any idea.

It has a sguare hole and wing nuts
I sent a link of this thread to my blacksmithing friend, who finds and repairs old tools and he thinks I could be right. That it's a handle for T-auger bits.
He says it might be worth $20-$30 or so.
Nice find!
Jim Rogers
Cool thanks
I cleaned it up a little and the chestnut handles look real good so I would say it is at least 100 yrs old. it will look good on the wall with some of my other vintage tools
I think that might be Millers Falls, Mass USA??? What do you think Jim? Millers Falls had a plant in western Mass as far as I can remember.
Could be.
Jim Rogers
Just looked at it with my glasses on and what do you know your right it is MASS. now that makes more sence

I believe Millers Falls tool company started in Millers Fall, Mass, USA, but I could be wrong, but I know they did have a tool factory in Millers Falls, Mass.
It would be fun to find it listed in an old tool catalog and see how much it went for brand new.
Jim Rogers
Yea
I have some old adds for some of the old tools I have they are neat to look at
