Title: Timberjack 380 center pins
Post by: ga jones on September 18, 2013, 10:23:42 AM
The pins on my 380c are cartridge style pins. They have about a 1/2 inch up and down play. It's no where enough to wear the body with that style pins. Should I change them now or can I run it a while first.what do you all think?... Cartridge style means the pin and bushing is one assembly that presses into the body.the pins wear inside the bushing not the body.

Make sure the nut is tight on top pin esp. We torque them to 1200 ft/lb.
