Title: Oil flow adjustment
Post by: ramv102000 on December 11, 2013, 08:12:51 PM
Recently bought a Stihl 032. But don't understand the oil contol settings. Has  0 , - and + markings . Does the screw turn till a stop or is all the adjustment between the markings within a half turn ? And what mark on the screw is used as the pointer ? How do I adjust it for maximum flow ?

I know on the newer saws, such as a 460, the screw on the bottom is turned clockwise (tightened) to increase the oil flow. It does not turn a bunch for adjustment. Maybe half a turn from the least to the highest output.
