Welcome !!!! You stated southern Michigan as a location....You need to come to the Forestry Forum Pig Roast the first Saturday in August. It is in Harrison and this will be the 11th. I still have a few old friends and relatives in Michigan but I come up from NC each August for the Pig Roast.. Say your prayers........ PER
Phil c, welcome to the forum! I built our home using timberframing out of wood that I milled myself. That was over 30 years ago, and it is still standing, so it can be done! Sounds like you've got some experience already, so the learning curve shouldn't be too tough. Looking forward to reading about your experiences.
Hello phil c, and Welcome to the Forestry Forum. Add your profile and sawmill to your profile. I know that you will not forget, but we might. :)
