Surely there must be such a thing. I can't be the only guy that would rather sit in the cab when it's zero degrees out.
By the way, I'm new to the board so cut me some slack if I'm not asking in the right place and yes I searched first but didn't see anything. But I may have missed it with so many posts to go through.
Closest thing I could find...

Not sure how much use a saw simply mounted on a bucket would be, or how useful that mini CTL processor would be either ???
But if you don't at least throw these ideas out there, you will never know :D

Welcome to the Forestry Forum.
Tell us more what you want the bucket mounted chainsaw to do.
Seems someone mentioned a chainsaw on a boom mounted to a loader for trimming trees.
Need some feedback from you as to more what you have in mind.

Thanks to all for the feedback.
I found a couple of saws like I was looking for. One is called a Limbinator and another a Limbhog. They are in the $2000 range.
Clik, welcome to the forum. Better have some high ply tires too on that tractor. Those stumps will do a job on an 8 ply tire.

If you had enough GPM in your tractor hydraulics it would work slick, but unless you are doing it for a living, it would be probably be way cheaper and easier to clamp a conventional chainsaw to the edge of your bucket and work the throttle with a string for the occasional use. A big circle blade or bar on a hydraulic motor could do some damage too I suppose.

Are you thinking of something to limb fallen trees, or trim branches on standing trees, or felling trees outright? Sort of vague as to what the plan is?? ??? Welcome to the forum, little more info would probably get better results.
