Does any one have any tips or techniques on removing the bottom 2 bolts on the bell housing . Is a long extension the only way to get at them . Any insight would be appreciated thanks
have fun with that ;D the tj are a pain to i never put them back in on the bottom half of the bell most of the time you pull motor and tranny on a tj to get them out on jd its been a long time since I did one and cant remember is there 4 or 6 bolts on there sorry I cant help you but if I think of it ill tell ya :)
we used 5 feet of extension to go in from the center of the machine. That's what book said to do.
Got motor out off to the shop thanks for the advice wasn't all that bad. Worst part about it is finding all the other things that need fixin that i weren't planing on. Gotta love mud season
