I needed to joint a twisted 14" wide cherry board to get a good straight board for a sign. I still haven't got the phase converter built for my 16" jointer... theres more than one way to skin a cat.

I get lazy sometimes ;D And the ole cnc is a little more accurate than the ole jake with a hand plane and skew sticks... ::)
No worries, I just can't help but plug the old technology whenever I see the opportunity. ;D
