We wanted to have some fun and thank the Forestry Forum and its members for their continued support. Logrite is 10 years old and the Forestry Forum has been with us every step of the way. We thought it might be fun to test FF members knowledge of Logrite history.
Here are the rules:
1- you must be a FF member
2- you must use your member's log-in name
3- you must instant message me (Tamiam) your answers
4- you must have your answers or guesses to me by Thursday, April 3, 2014
The first place winner will be drawn from all the entries submitted that answered all the questions correctly or be the entry with the most correct answers.
The first place winner of our contest will win a 60" cant hook or peavey, a funny LogRite tshirt from Arborwear and a Bluecreeper Value Pack.
Second and third place winners will be drawn from all the remaining entries submitted.
The second place winner will win a funny LogRite tshirt from Arborwear and a Bluecreeper Value pack.
The third place winner will win a funny LogRite tshirt from Arborwear.
I have one small disclaimer - if you are outside of the US you will be responsible for shipping and customs charges.
Answers can be found on the forum and our website.
I will post the questions later so we can start on the first day of Spring.
Have fun and good luck.
Tammy and Kevin

thecfarm
that's good! many of the answers are right in the logrite section of the forum. And then using the search was helpful for the rest.
Here's a hint, we seem to save our big announcements for pig roasts.
I didn't think I was as diabolical as Jeff when he puts together a contest and yet my inbox is empty? ???
Maybe the spring weather kept everyone busy.
I put a block on this post. I'm the only one that can see it. :D I'm still working on it.
sorry thecfarm,
sweetjetskier managed to sneak through your block tank-smiley
keep working on it.
Guess I will have to cheat and ask him the answers to 8 and 12. ::)
#8 is easy you can find the answer on my board and he needs help with #12 also.
I suggest the search on that one. :P And the answer to #12 is a good read!
If memory serves I don't think I want to know the answer to #12! smiley_horserider
I am pretty sure I know the answer to #12. I may have even "bumped" it a couple times just to keep it from being buried too soon!!

you are probably right. Poor Jeff!
There are things a man should not have to write about of another man. :o
#7 is the hold up now, I got one german company.
Missed this till just now, I need more Blue Creeper (that stuff really works!) so you guys back off and let me do a little research! :D. If I'm right about #12 Jeff, sorry man, but you're never gonna live that one down. :D
thecfarm
all I have to say is the answer can be found in the logrite sponsor board.
Today is the last chance to play!
So even if you have only some of the answers send them in so you can be considered for 2nd or 3rd prize.
DanG! While reading the entries answers I realized I forgot one of the questions. Seeing as though it all started right here on the forum, I was going to ask how my brownies became famous and named Logrite Brownies.
https://forestryforum.com/board/index.php/topic,7147.msg98684.html#msg98684
Drum roll please.
There were only two people who had all the answers correct so a coin flip determined the answer.

Congratulations!
Congratulations to Sweetjetskier (Chris) for the 1st place win, and also to Ray and Jason. smiley_thumbsup smiley_thumbsup
You guys should of entered the contest. I had at least one wrong.
Well a special thanks to Kevin and Tammy for all their support of FF.
Logrite's 10th anniversary has seen changes to their products as they evolved into the great company we have grown to know.
The questions of the contest were not so easy to find all the answers as many probably figured out. I spent a good amount of time just reading the Logrite info I found on searches, to ultimately come up with all the answers.
Thanks again for the contest prizes that were awarded smiley_clapping
Chris
Thank you Logrite, not only for your awesome labor saving tools, but also for allowing us to join in your 10 year anniversary celebration. It was fun and informative searching through your formative and growth years and stories.
To say the best is yet to come would be an understatement. logrite_cool
I'm not sure if anyone noticed but I did post the answers and links to the answers.
the link for #12 is a good read. Sorry Jeff but it is really funny ;D
this is an even better link to Jeff's story. You have to read a little and follow his link. https://forestryforum.com/board/index.php/topic,64314.0.html
Tammy
So the Fed Ex truck made a delivery today with a package from Logrite.
The picture shows the new 60" peavey, Bluecreeper and Logrite T shirt as well as the 42" cant with firewood stand I bought last year.

Congrats on the contest win Ray, and the nice prize. The Logrite Brownie was a bonus. food6
