Anyone ever have a problem when cutting poplar in the hotter seasons with it making them itch where dust comes into contact with sweatie skin. I sweat profusely due to side effects of a medicine.
Started last fall when I cut poplar you would think I had poison ivy where the dust contacts me. During the winter I didn't have the problem. And when I say I sweat from my knees to the top of my shirt are wet. Take my hard had off for a few minutes while fueling and filing a saw and when I go to put it back on there will be sweat in it that will pour out. Last fall I actually took off my T Shirt and was able to wring out sweat. I am miserable setting here itching.
Can't help you out on the itching part, but this link, thanks to Brad_bb, might give you some relief on the t shirt part.

I gave one to the wife's son. He wore it under a sweat shirt. His sweat shirt was wet from sweat, but the shirt was dry. It's all in there, read each reply. Made a believer out of me.
My father had similar problem with poplar - it turns out his had mildly allergic reactions to it - also had problem in spring when the pollen flew. - Sorry I do not have any relief ideas, but you re not the only sufferer.
