I would like to start selling firewood wood this fall and I am looking for a good hevy duty unit. So far I am thinking about the Timberwolf brand TW-2HD. Does anyone have any experiance with the Timberwolf products? Or do you have a machine you could recomend in the $3,000.00 or less range?
Thanks
Dale
I thought I would post this link so I could get some feedback on this unit.

The rep is coming to my place Tuesday for a demo, he will be bringing the TW-5 with log lift. The TW-5 is out of my price range but it will give me an idea of overall quality.

I got one from Bailey's. It's a 34 ton vertical/horizontal unit. They have several models and if I am not mistaken the shipping was free.

That TW-2 look like a good unit. Can you get a log lift for it or is your wood small enough to lift? I like using horizontal better than vertical but much of my wood is too big to lift so I have to use vertical mode.
Good luck

Yes, I can and most likely get a log lift also. It's just a matter of spending a few more bucks. The rep comes Tuesday so I'll see if I can make a deal.
Thanks

I've seen some discussion on a splitter that uses a gear rack and flywheel. Looked like a nice rig and people say it is fast.
