Title: three cherry logs and a Logrite arch
Post by: moosehunter on July 23, 2014, 08:53:36 PM
This past Sunday I traveled to a site to saw 3 cherry logs. I was apprehensive about it because it was only three logs and the client said he pulled them out of the woods with his Logrite arch and his 500cc Polaris Sportsman AVT. How much lumber is that going to be? Probably not worth the drive time!
Wrong!! The small one was 24"+ on the small end! We tallied 969 board feet at the end of the job. No, I did not get pictures but that guy is mighty proud of his Logrite arch and his Polaris - with good reason!

Sounds like a smart customer and a nice sawjob for you.  That is the joy of portable sawing.   smiley_thumbsup

Your customer sounds like a smart guy  logrite_cool and might fit right in around here. Did you convince him to become a member and post pics?

I'll shoot him an e-mail and tell him to check out the FF.

A log arch is an amazing tool. It takes so much less horse power to move something when you can get wheels under it.
