Does anyone dry 5 & 6 quater lumber with 4q in the same charge in a dehumidifing unit such as the nyle, and if so what is different about the schedule
4/4 and 5/4 together are common. It depends on species and moisture content going in. Under 25% you would be okay with most any species. Above 25% could be trouble with Oaks, Maple etc.
