Well I finally decided to attack the two big logs I had left. They were 40" 8' and they were heavy. So I took my 18" Stihl and went to work. It was ugly but I did get the job done. Once I trued them up they did produce some wonderful qtr sawn red oak. I need the exercise anyhow a great way to build the guns cheap too.(https://forestryforum.com/images/03_21_04/DSC00548.JPG)
