Title: LogRite/Peterson Sawmill product development
Post by: Pete J on July 31, 2004, 07:34:11 AM
Captain and I really need a new product to display at the Empire Farm Days show in NY. The LogRite brownies were a big hit in Richmond but like everything else, times change. It would be tough to market LogRite brownies from the Peterson Sawmills booth (potential conflict of interest thing). What we need is a product that represents both companies. I was thinking M&M cookies with blue, red and M&M's. I just need a killer idea.

Hey! That sounds like sumpthin I'm good at. Now if I could get all of ya here a week early with hammers, I could lite a fire out in the fire ring sit down, open a beverage and put some thought into this.  :) But alas, out the door I go to supply Tammy with more siding.  Can this wait til next week? We can have a think tank!

Well if by M&M you mean maple syrup and Marmite,  it would represent both areas,  but I don't plan on investing in any of the stock :D :D

Here's a recipe for white chocolate dipped kiwi  http://www.recipegoldmine.com/fruit/fruit78.html

I don't know how milk chocolate would do and I don't know if you would call that a mix of American/New Zealand or not.

Here's some NZ recipes:  http://www.azmetro.com/nzrecipe.html#hokepoke  They have some biscuits there.  Maybe add something American to that.

How about Kiwi jelly?  http://www.justfruitrecipes.com/fru-jam00015.html

I'm just a little concerned that if Kevin, Tammy and I are all at the Pig Roast, that leaves you and Tucker to do the baking....

Tucker is great at cleaning the pots and pans. He has a secret technique which he doesn't share with anyone.
