That fellow gave some sound advice.  It made good reading and sounds a lot like the advice given by the sawyers on this site.  The fellows that turn the rough wood into furniture can provide some excellant insight into how the wood reacts.  It pays for us to listen to them as well as other sawyers when we are discovering the best ways to break down a tree.
