I thought I would use this forum to let others know what about a very valuable resource we have available right here.  Jim Rogers deserves much in the way of kudos.  After spending almost an hour on the phone with him tonight, I am stunned at the amount of knowledge this person has about timber framing and his willingness to share that knowledge.  If any of you are thinking about building a timber frame, you owe it to yourself to get Jim involved.
