Hammond, you better have LOTS of Sausages in Georgia. Us Southern boys LOVES to eat Sausages. ;D ;D ;D :D
Sausages won't be a problem Fla.Deadheader its the GRITS I'm worried about!! ;D
No worries, mate. Georgia grits is the best. 8) 8) ;D :D
Hammond,
Thanks for the info--it looks like I'll be able to make it, and I'll be sure to eat plenty of brats at the bbq! Is this going to be a wood show there in Kalamazoo that's taking place, or something else?
Thanks!
Dan
Hey Paschale,
Good news!! Look forward to meeting up with you at the Demo Day. No, there isn't any woodshow or anything like that, this is soley a Peterson Demo Day that we have orgainsed ourselves.
Mate, looks like I'm gonna have to keep an eye on the grill with you boys around & I may have to try some of dem grits you're always on about. Or should I wait until we get south for those?!
See you there Paschale, I'll get you cutting a few boards or tailing out to work off those brats!! ;D
Sounds like a fair trade, Hammond! I'll work for food! :D
Hammond, them Yankees don't know how to cook them grits. You better hold out till you cross the Mason-Dixon line. ;D ;D ;D
Yup, thats what I've heard Fla._Deadheader, best grits is South. While I have no idea what they are I am willing to try some. See how I go.
Grits is good right outta the pot, but, don't be afraid to season 'em a bit. A little butter, maybe a small sprinkle of Cheddar, Mix 'em in yer eggs, you know, don't go "Cold Turkey" the first time out. ;) :D :D :D
I dunno 'bout dat. Grits goes pretty good wit cold turkey. ;D
Hammond, you gonna be doing the demo in Moultrie? We'll get you some first class grits. Even tell ya how to cook'em. :D :D :D
'Bout 40 miles north of Moultrie is Warwick, Ga, home of the annual International Grits Festival. They have the big party in April. I think JeffB is planning to come to the next one. ;D :D
Hey DanG,
Yep, I'll be at the Moultrie Show. Right, heres the deal - if I try grits you can gotta have some marmite! (see Ianib's profile comment).
JeffB, didn't know you were such a grits fan!!
Guess we'll catch up with the yellow hat brigade in Ohio & then in Moultire! See you soon.
Hammond, could you e-mail me with location of the Fairview, TN demo? ( or post them here if that is appropriate )
And please bring some of this marmite I keep hearing about.
I am assuming it is not some variety of gopher? ???
Thanks,
George

Hey Woodbeard,
Sure, here is the Tennessee Demo location:
1365 Fairview Boulevard
Fairview
Tennessee
(I'm told its around 18m from Nashville)
The date for this one is Saturday 16th October, 10am - 3pm. Guess we'll see you there, marmite is a spread we put on our toast or sandwiches. All real kiwi kids grow up with Marmite! :D
Hammond,
Sorry I didn't make the show down in Kalamazoo! ::) I had tons of projects to do here around the house, plus there was an auction with tons of woodworking equipment. Next year... ::)
