Title: Building a Bowl Kiln
Post by: ElectricAl on August 24, 2004, 05:18:14 PM
Here is a link to an article about building a bowl Kiln.

The construction is basic but good.

The kiln might need better vent controls.

I was unable to find any information on the operation.
It is possible the kiln has not been fully tested yet.

Might be a fun project ;D

Al, I do not know about building the kiln as I have a large lumber kiln, but the other parts of the  site are delicious to look at and dream.  I will have to get to the woodshop during our rainy spell here in the Willamette Valley and see what I can produce with my lathes.  Charlie could get an idea or two for roofs, for his orniment birdhouses. 8)
