Title: Timberwolf sharpening in Missouri
Post by: Ozarkoak on April 08, 2015, 02:05:17 PM
Looking for a sharpening service in Missouri for Timberwolf brand blades for an EZ Boardwalk Jr.  Any advise or experiences you have is appreciated.    Not looking to ship blades, looking to drop them off and pick them up.  Thanks

Ozarkoak, welcome to the forum. I stopped at a hardware store and asked about a sharpening sevice. I go directly to the guys buisness. Another hardware store has a drop off. Might even be a member close by that will do it for you.

Sam sold his sharpening business to a guy about 20 miles from me. Can't remember his name. St James is a long way from here. Don't know anyone it that area. Lots of mills over there though, should be someone.

Ozark Gem, yes surely there is someone over this way.  I make it around the state somewhat often so certain areas of travel are doable.  Anyone near central Missouri sharpening band saw blades?

There is a guy in Festus I use.  He does a great job.  He charges $7 a blade.  If I lived in St. James I wouldn't have time to mill.  I would be at the trout park all the time.
