Title: Poulan Micro XXV oiler trouble.
Post by: Don_N6CRV on September 07, 2004, 05:28:32 PM
Hello, I'm having trouble with the chain oiler on a Poulan Micro XXV. No oil comes out were it should it goes into the motor. I can't see any kind of check valve at all. There is what I would call a bolt just under the clutch that lets pressure into the oil tank to push the oil out but can see what is suppose to stop it from going the other way. The (bolt) has a screen at the bottom and a 1/16 hole at the top and they are clean. The lines are clear and I can add pressure to the oil tank and it will come out like it is ment to. What might I be missing? I did try cleaning the oil tank and all that did was fillup the motor. Thanks for your help.

There should be a check valve in the crankcase behind the clutch.

Make sure the tubing doesn't extend beyond the casting or it will become blocked.
